IN APRIL 2004, WE BROUGHT THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT TO FOREST RIVER COMMUNUITY SCHOOL:

·         Computer – installed Portuguese – English programme

·        No-break

·        Mouse

·         Keyboard  (total £320 = R$1,600 – (£250 donated by Russian Ulster Teachers Association, £70 Vicky)

·         Laptop (donated by Ged)

·         Rucksack with cool bag  (£20 = R$ 100)

·         Fan (£7,00 = R$35)

·         Seeds  (£2= R$ 10)

·         Crayons (£2 = R$10)

·         Drill & small points for artisan (£6= R$ 30 )

·         Radios / posters / medals / (donated by UNESCO)

·         Map of world & their forest peoples (donated by Survival International)

·         Irish schools designs & card of introduction.

·         Two footballs from Irish footy team.

·        Link with nuns computer course for RC to learn how to e-mail.

·         Boots to protect from cobra bites

·         Bought 2 cows (to breed and pay for future flight tickets).

EXCHANGE EXERCISES AGREED IN FOREST RIVER COMMUNITY SCHOOL:

1. To translate Survival Internationals map of forest peoples

2. To translate the posters & stick translations onto posters
