INTRODUCING CADEM

Dear Sir,

We humbly wish to introduce to you Christ Apostolic Deliverance Evangelistic Ministry (CADEM) a Faith Based Organisation (FBOs), a Not-for-Profit making Organsation.

We got registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Abuja on the 25th August, 1998 but have been operation since as a Faith Base precisely September, 1995.

At the start of operations as Non Governmental Organisation we have undertook poverty and Health development services; this is to prepare the church and community for the task of taking care of those who may need our services. Our office is located in four states i.e Kogi, Ekiti, Ondo and Lagos state where our Head office is.

We have youths, educational institution, women group and the general community as our stakeholders from the states we operate.

We have partners whose activities complement ours in the area of;

-                      Counseling and Testing

-                      Training on skill acquisition, HIV/AIDs, Home based Care

-                      Support group of PLWHAs

-                      Youth groups in the interfaith communities and In and out-of –School Programme.

 

WHAT WE DO

1.                  This is the calling to preach the word of God

2.                  CADEM Poverty and Health Action Resource Centre : is designed to contribute to the reduction in HIV/AIDs, Reproductive Health Right of Youths, Women and Girl child, Orphan care and Home based care.

3.                  CADEM Investment and Credit Scheme: This scheme concentrates on capacity development for existing and potential business people, who are agent of change, thus encouraging saving culture to develop their businesses.

 

SITUATION ANALYSIS

POVERTY

Total population: 140,003,542 Nigeria population (NPC 06/07 Data entry), over 2.6 Billion people, out of the world’s 6.4 Billion total population are poor and living on less than $2 daily, report say. Also statistic reveals that around 60 Million Nigeria is still poor.

HEALTH

Nigeria still ranks the 3rd highest burden of HIV infection in Sub-Sahara Africa after South Africa and India. 4.4% of total population 140,003,54, i.e Nigeria has around 3 Million living with HIV.

OUR EXPECTATION

We expect your participation as an individual or as organization financially, materially, in kind or otherwise to help us achieve reduction in poverty and prevailing Health situation in the world today most especially Nigeria.
