Youth Programs.

In our country today we have some young people leading some lives which are aimless due to lack of employment. Some are out here after dropping out from schools as the result of lacking the school fees to be enabled to continue with their  education. In most cases you will find that youths are involved in some bad activities such as drinking local brews that leads to committing different crimes in the society. We need to bring them awareness and prevention of HIV AIDS by establishing a voluntary counseling and testing center within our facility.

They are getting involved into affairs and broken promises whereby girls ends up getting pregnant and prefer abortions or giving birth to children who ends up on the streets of our cities. We would like to have a program that will accommodate  the above described group which will empower them to be good and productive citizens of this country.

For  the youths who have sat for their O level examinations ,we shall try to create some job opportunities within the facility such as teaching  the destitute children from the streets and villages while the other set  will be able to work on some income generating projects in the facility such as poultry keeping which is rearing of chickens for eggs ,keeping some grade cows for milk and working at the facility garden by planting  all  kinds of vegetables.

We shall also work towards empowering our youths by introducing some vocational training purposely to those who could not continue with the education and the age compels them to sit in classrooms with those who are more younger in age than them. The trainings will include carpentry, masonry and joinery, welding  , tailoring, motor mechanics ,computer training etc. So that they may acquire different skills and become self supportive in  the future.

We shall also have different sports that will bring the youths together from other different schools and institutions, sports like soccer, volley ball, tennis athletics etc.
