The
Ecological and Cultural Centre
realizes the project "The Pripyat is
the territory of love for nature" from April 15th till September 30th.
The aim is to form the morally-aesthetic ecological positions, to attract the
population to the study of the problems of the pollution of the rivers, lakes
and their coasts, to achieve the suggestions about their cleaning, the
preventive measures, and the recovery of natural complexes.
The
debates "Clean water is for
everything alive" will be conducted within the framework of the project
in Ecological and Cultural Centre in April and May.
In
May of the current year the population of Mozyr and Mozyr district will fill in the
questionnaires to study the problems of the contamination of the riverbanks,
to analyze and contribute to their cleaning.
"The
Day of the river protection"
- under such name in June will be organized the action, in which students,
schoolchildren and the local population will take part.
The
articles about the conservation and recovery of the riverbanks environment will
be published in mass media; the speeches on this subject will be made on radio.
The
recommendations "Seven golden rules
for the holiday-makers on the riverbanks" will be released for the
population, which will be placed on the billboards and will be installed on the
coasts.
The
numerous competitions on fishing with
undertaking contests, ecological
operations on cleaning the river and its coasts, training on utilization of the rubbish in natural conditions,
placing the agitation slogans about
saving the pure nature will be held within the framework of the project.
In
July a few crews will go down the river Pripyat under the motto "The deeds in nature protection" placing the shields with
the appeals for pure coasts, undertaking the explanatory work with the
holiday-makers.
The
ecological leaflets "No dumps on the
coasts" will be released and wide-spread for the population.
The
contest of the projects "How to rescue and save a river\ lake"
will be held within the framework of the project "Pripyat - the territory
of love for nature» from 15.04. till 20.05.
The
projects must be performed in any form (2-3 sheets written in hand or printed,
drawings and so on) with the description of the projects of the purifying and
recovering the environment on the rivers and lakes; and offers about possible
protective actions for the fauna and flora on the coasts.
The
best projects will be performed on the Republican ecological forum in Braslav
city, Vitebsk region.
The
contest "River is my beauty" will
be held for the amateurs to fix the beauty of the native nature by means of the
photo camera from 20.04. till 1.08.2007.
The
best works will be performed in the Republican ecological forum in Braslav city,

exhibition of all works will be organized in Ecological and Cultural centre.
