The Ecological and Cultural Centre, situated in the Republic of
Belarus, Gomel region, Mozyr, applies to you! Every sensible person
knows that the ecological situation nowadays is very dangerous and now
at the 21st century we are at a crucial turning point. We have created
our center to raise the ecological education and public participation
in solving ecological problems. |

Our tasks are: |
|
- protection of natural resources; |
|
- prevention and reduction of natural disaster damages through
education of local population; |
|
- raising the ecological public awareness and education; |
|
- organization of different ecological actions, campaigns, conferences
and meetings; |
|
- encouraging communication and collaboration among ecologists and
other ecological centers\organizations; |
|
- fostering the teaching and/or the learning of ecology. |
|
The ecological and cultural center was founded in 2005. Life itself
caused the necessity of the creation of our ecological center. On the
26th of April 1986 Chernobyl catastrophe took place. It is the most
severe catastrophe throughout the entire world history of the atomic
energy use by its scale, complexity and long-term consequences. Nobody
will solve the ecological problems for us, so the desperate extremity
of uniting everyone who cares about the environment has become of
vital importance in our society.
The international cooperation in this field serves the interests of
the entire mankind. One can't stay aside while our nature is being
damaged. We are to join efforts of all the people of the world.

The Earth is our home and we must take care of it for ourselves and
next generations! We really hope that we'll find our adherents among
you, who'll share general pain and sufferings of our environment!
