Background

Kenya is truly a blessed country, endowed with a great pool of natural and human resources and still is paradoxically referred to as a developing country. The proliferation of organizations occasioned by the generation of initiatives by individuals and organizations in order to tackle some of the challenges faced by the country becomes worrisome. Recent political problems that threaten to tear Kenya apart require analysis that goes beyond ethnicity as portrayed in the media and current analyses that attempt to explain the situation. More correctly, emphasis and focus should be placed on the interpenetration of historical and current political developments whose origins can be traced in the early stages of state formation in Kenya  Some of these endeavours never get to see the light of the day. Each day confirms how many ideas are nurtured but never brought to fruition since the desire to have them happen is aborted owing to paucity of funds, lack of expertise and resources. It is to this end that the need for a common and friendly platform which recognizes the human capital as the core mass and topmost priority for nation building and development be encouraged.
