ü  Raising awareness on youth activities and mobilizing adolescents for solidarity by promoting and facilitating their active participation in national issues.

Management of project.

We have mobilized young adults from more than 50 secondary schools in Rubaga Division, and expect a turn up of more than 500 adolescents in and out of school, who will be empowered to reach their full potential.

This event is designed as a process of mutual learning with the participants’ experiences and realities as the starting point of this event. Participants will compare their approaches and concerns in a dialogical inter cultural approach and environment.

The use of experiential methods and workshops will strengthen the practical side of the event.

The programme will use a variety of educational methodologies such as thematic, methodological, new technologies, stimulation exercises, group dynamics, interactive role plays, examples of good practices etc.

We intend to identify, plan, and after the meeting, monitor and evaluate a pilot project.

We have invited a number of guests, executive and ordinary, and  among the speakers; Education consultant Hon. Fagil Mandy, Area Member of Parliament Hon. Singh Katongole, Guest speakers from Raising voices, Naguru teenage health centre, to mention but  a few.

We shall receive presentations from Wilson Bugembe, Bobi Wine, Miracle teens, Exodus, and many others.

During the event, participants will acquire knowledge and skills to develop their capacity as civil society actors in the development process.

Participants will learn of different models of capacity building initiatives in the field of youth participation in poverty alleviation strategies.
