Metta
Centre and A Ray of Hope, UNESCO Youth Ambassador for the Culture of Peace is
organizing a mass peace initiation with the lighting of one million lamps at
Swayambhu. The location is one of the world’s most famous peace focus sites.
This world heritage site was chosen due for its uniqueness and having the eyes
of the world looking towards it for a sign of peace and hope in our divided world.
Following
the lighting of 100000 lamps, a mass praying will be held with the chanting by
a large gathering of religious leaders for the blessing.
The
main objective of this peace programme is to pray for the peace in this world.
We sincerely hope for the peace in our country and the rest of the world.

Children, youths, religious leaders, dignitaries and general public.
